In 1985 entwickelte der Kletterer François Savigny entwickelt für der neulich gegründete Kletterwandbauer Entre-Prises die erste künstliche Klettergriffe. Klettern auf künstliche Wände entwicklete sich schnell welweit zu eine neue Disziplin und bald folgten andere Marken. Eine Industrie ist geboren…
Stets bemüht neue und bessere Lösungen zu finden, bringt EP In 2001 das patentierte EPS (Explosion-Proof-System) auf dem Markt. Durch eine im Griff eingeschlossene Drahtspirale bleiben bei einem Griffbruch die Teile zusammen. Somit wird das Verletzungsrisiko durch Splittern beim Kletterers bzw. Belayer reduziert. Nach Ablauf des Patents wurde diese innovative Idee auch von andere Marken übernommen.
EP bietet eine breite Palette an Griff-Formen und Griffigkeits-Varianten, von einfachen bis feiner verarbeiteten
Griffen, die sich jeder Kletter-Umgebung leicht anpassen und einen präzisen und zugleich spielerischen Routenbau
ermöglichen. Die Produktpalette beinhaltet über 1.000 Formen, die wie folgt eingeteilt werden:
Classic Polyester (PE)
Klassische Polyester-Mischung für hochwertige Griffe mit einer trockenen Textur. Ideal für ebene Wände oder Holzwände.

Continuing the principles from the previous set, these holds are designed to interconnect with each other so setters can create stoppers or improve holds by pairing them together increasing the amount of possibilities for the setter.

The “Essential” holds are principally used for climbing walls. With simple shapes, they create a good foundation for any climbing wall, whatever the desired difficulty. All of the holds in this range are made of PolyEster: they are resistant to abrasion and can be used outdoors. The holds are classified by type of grip, then by size.

Granite offers a natural look and exceptional shape. Available in various shapes, this series allows you to play with the grip feeling: the texture of the holds was worked by our shapers in such a way as to reproduce the feel of granite. The grips are subtle and require precision in order to improve your climbing ability. All of the holds in this range are made of PolyEster:
they are resistant to abrasion and can be used outdoors.
Packs
Material: PE
This range of packs offers sets of different sizes and various holds. According to the type of pack,
the holds can be used for bouldering or climbing walls. They allow easy route-setting at a lower cost.

Kids

The ENTRE-PRISES “Kids” range of soft and ergonomic grips are adapted for the hands of children! These holds can be used to route-set paths on a climbing wall, or build many fun traverses. As they are certified for playgrounds, they guarantee safety for children. The PolyEster holds are resistant to abrasion, especially sneaker use, and can be used outdoors.
